Today was an awesome day.  The weather was almost perfect and the trip up river was interesting and calm.  We saw several freighters going downbound and at least one upbound. We also saw other sailboats and power boats with fishermen.   We left this morning about 10:30 and arrived at Sault St Marie at 5:30.  We had a few minutes of rain during the trip and noticed that below us on the river there were some rain clouds.  Good thing we were on the move.  We ate dinner at Frank’s restaurant and ordered a Pastie to go for lunch tomorrow on the lake.
