Well the summer has come and gone and I noticed that I have not blogged since June. We had a great summer with our biking and sailing. We went on several bike trips including Palm in which we ride across the state. Bob also did a month long trip on our boat. I joined him for the last week or so. We did some biking on Manitoulin Island when we sailed there on the boat. Clara and Gary joined us there and we spent several days with Jim and Judy.
We had a great time at Amber's wedding in August. We have also learned that we are expecting a new grandchild hopefully to be followed by a few more in the near future.
Scott and Melis recently became certified divers and are coming with us to Curacao. We went diving with them last weekend at the White star quarry. Bob and I were diving in dry suits but Melisa and Scott were in wetsuits. Temperatures on the way to the quarry were hovering between 29 and 32 while driving there early in the morning. we did reach a whopping 51 degrees while we were there. We are all so excited about our upcoming trip. Jackie and Barb G are also coming and they are equally excited to skip out on the cold weather coming here.
I have been doing a lot of reading lately so decided I would finally get a kindle. I look forward to it being delivered sometime next week.
We are also in the midst of planning our trip to Australia. It looks like we may spend up to 5 weeks there next November.
