Dawson to whitehorse

Today we traveled to Whitehors along the Klondike river valley. We stopped for a break in a quaint little cafe and had our photo taken. The weather is still drizzling a bit. Our first stop was the Tintina Trench whis is where two tectonic plates meet . The gault line runs along the Yukon or vise versa. Apparently the gold discovered in the area was brought up due to tectonic movement. Our bus broke down about 2.5 hours away from Whitehorse. Fortunately another bus was nearby and they took us to a lunch stop at Carmacks where we then stayed and waited for a replacement bus from Whitehorse. We were able to walk and enjoy the good weather and scenery in that area for a few hours as well as have our lunch. Once again we arrived near 8 in time to eat and go to bed.
