The girlfriends and myself went to Holland Michigan last weekend for a girlfriend Weekend sponsored by the city of Holland. We had a great time. Friday morning Jackie, Barb Clara and I drove to Holland. We arrive about noon and checked into the Haworth Hotel. The remainder of the day we spent walking around downtown Holland and participating in numerous activities the stores in the area provided for about 290 participants. We were each given a bag with small gifts, coupons and such. We went gem mining at a jewelry store, made rustic coasters, and painted an acrylic painting. Friday evening we went to a comedy show in town. Saturday Sandy and Dee met us at breakfast and then we spent the day together watching a fashion show and did 
more shopping and activities. We brought games along and played Saturday night. We hope to go back next year. Unfortunately Ingrid was not able to go but hope that next year she can come.
