Today we went to the Myakka river state park fora hike and also went to scope out the trailhead for our trail ride from sarasota to venice which we hope to do tomorrow. Be for leaving this morning we all chipped in to get beef stew in the pot The park was pretty and had a canopy walk which had a swing bridge about 30 ft in the air and a tower to observed the tree canopy . We also took a hike on the nature trail. Now we are back home ready for dinner. Waiting on Sue and Tom to come back from their visit with family.
