T- Storms and rain

Well it has been a grueling couple of days with rain and thunderstorms but tyhe worst has been the head winds. Bob has been doing well. He still needs more rest stops and finds himself falling off the pace at times. Considering the expectations of doing a ride like this day after day he is doing great. Sunday we had heat to contend with and of course the hills hills hills and headwind. Monday was probably the best day so far in that we had no rain and it was cooler. Tuesday we started out in the rain and had to stop for lightning once. It was a wet and windy day. The rain subsided in order to put up tents and eat and then the thunderstorms began and lasted well into the night. Tent was wet inside in the morning. Today we are hoping for a break.
